How to drive traffic form yahoo answer

Yahoo answers have become a major source of information for most of the people online who are searching for answers. This feature of Yahoo has unique answers from general users for all sorts of question one might be searching for, from the most casual one to the most complex.

The idea behind this feature is quite simple. People use search engines to find questions of their answers, but instead what they find is unorganized information. Searching within that information to find what you are looking for requires a lot of time, so Yahoo started this service which allows people to ask questions and then gets answers from the others, so that people could have information in specific question and answer form.

The idea for driving traffic from Yahoo answers is also very simple. You just have to search that section for your niche or topic your website deals in. Once you find a question whose answer is available on your website in term of a tutorial, product or service, you can safely post a link there and explain how it can help. There would be many advantages for this: It won’t be counted as spam, would be good for link building and also could drive some good referral traffic from there to your website.

A few of my answers were awarded "Best Answer" and then my account got suspended and all I did was answer questions by providing relevant answers.

Search using your keyword, however in the search settings select open answers, and then answer questions related to your keyword and leave a link. It can get you a lot of traffic but be careful and don't overdo it you may loose your account.

Yes it is true. Posting relevant links related to a question and explaining how it helps, drives traffic to your site.

 

I cannot figure the whole yahoo answers thing out. I always get my account suspended at level two and I post relevant content. I'll just stick to Web Answers since they offer adsense revenue share anyway.

 

Yahoo Answers only effective if you make good and quality answers on the related category, and not just traffic but backlink as well.

Naah backlinks don't count all links are nofollow

 

Sometime when your answers are selected as best answer on Yahoo answer then you get good amount of traffic if the question is hot at that time.

 

Is this for yahoo answers being nofollow? Spending time scrolling through all the nonsense questions trying to find a single niche topic for my sites is very exhausting, there are more productive ways to garner backlinks.

 

Now I have this question. If they happen to suspend your account, will you loose your email acct too?
