Hi, I have a website where I teach math, science, and engineering lessons via YouTube videos. The website is like a directory of all of the videos organized into their respective subjects. You can take a look if you like: www.engineer4free.com My tutorials are currently getting about 10,000 YouTube views per month: 50% from YouTube search 30% from Google search 3% from people watching on my website 17% from other sources I consistently make a few new videos each week. Ideally I would like to increase my tutorial views by about 100 times to get up to around 1,000,000 views per month without seriously increasing the production of new videos. I am looking for thoughts/opinions on if my goal is realistic, and am eager to hear any suggestions in online or traditional marketing that could help me out! Thanks in advance to everyone who responds
I've taken a look at the site and have the following suggestions to help: Create an optin list so you can announce new videos to them Make your viral buttons more prominent Send some high PR links to both your website and YouTube channel Consider getting a social media specialist to create a viral system for new content to include Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter etc Do a press release each time you do a new video or reach a landmark figure Do a mass mailing to colleges and university campus magazines Contact college and university websites and offer to do a guest post Create some kind of content targeted to this niche that would go viral Make sure your YouTube channel is correctly optimized. Hope this helps Ray
