    Hi,

The BBC world channel airs a great weekly program called "Click". It's a show on technological aspects / developments around the world. They offer live streaming channels of the half-hour show, but, there's no known way to download those episodes.

Is there any way to download these episodes, for later viewing? I've tried VLC Media player to stream to hard disk, but that's doesn't work.

If you can get on BBC.co.uk, then they host most shows for 30 days for free and you can download them, granted they expire after 30 days but it gives you a chance to watch it in depth, because that's what I'm assuming you're doing it for.

The BBC iPlayer, to which you refer, only allows UK residents to view BBC programmes broadcast on their UK based channels - not BBC World.
