How to do well in Yahoo?

think you must concentrate on every factor of SEO ....Do the best of all things such as on page optimization, get quality backlinks , unique content and much more ..... i think you must not wait for doing only one thing and must go for all .....because all that is a part of seo and cant get results on one.

 

One thing I've noticed about Yahoo (and it's difference with Google) is that they pay a LOT more attention to keywords in titles. If you're doing SEO and your title page doesn't have the necessary keywords that you're targeting there is still a possibility that you'd rank in Google but in Yahoo your chances are pretty slim.

So I guess it's also safe to say that one of the easy ways to get in Yahoo is to make sure your keywords are highly visible.

 

You never know really.

I was well indexed in google, placed high and failing wildly in Yahoo, like nowhere to be seen, then after a few months I suddenly appeared out of nowhere as the #1 answer for my keyword.

Thing being, even though I am #1 answer on yahoo, and like 3rd page on google, I still get far more traffic from that keyword from google - and I mean like 20 times as much.

 

I don't understand the different search engine algorithms. I have some sites that rank fairly high in Google and don't appear anywhere in Yahoo. But then again I have some things that rank high in Yahoo and don't appear in Google. As long as I get traffic from one source or another I don't care too much so far. But I'm trying to work on getting high rankings in both search engines.

Can any one suggest a good solution to rank good in yahoo?All are just telling something less important.Please be precise and actual.

 

I have written so many articles on Eve, Everquest, FFXI and WOW Accounts. They appear in top 5 results every time. No matter with what keywrods you search them. The reason why such efficiency is because of consistency and maximum keywords use. I am sure you will get what you have in mind. Every time the search results will put up your blog or web site in top results, be it on yahoo or google search engines.

 

I just do not understand search engines in general.
I am no SEO expert yet when I recently launched a new site it took only 12 days to hit Nr 1 in Yahoo and position 7 on page one of google for my keywords. and that is with a natural search (in other words not enclosing the keywords in inverted comma's)

I recently set up a subdomain to host a new tool I have developed and it is nowhere to be found on Yahoo, and on google it showed up after 5 hours in position 2 on page one, the next day it completely vanished from google and is still no where to be found.

if anyone has suggestions feel free to contribute.

 

addendum 15 Oct 2009

About 4 hours after making this post yesterday, while testing a tool suggeted in another thread, I found that the new subdomain was back at position 5 on page 1 of google. During my daily meeting with my partner about 7 hours later I passed on the good news and when we looked again it was woooooooooohoooooooo as we are nr 1.

Unfortunatly we are still no where to be found in Yahoo or Bing yet.

 

Yeah. It is little bit difficult promotion work on yahoo compare with google. You need have quality content with enough keywords.

You might not have focused upon content and keywords. The real game to become one of top positions in either google or yahoo you have to focus on keywords usage and content. All other things follow later on..

 

In seo world we assume that if u get more quality back links you can also get more traffic, So go for quality links definitely u do well in every search engine. * To get well ranked in yahoo do a little bit of backlinks work, but smartly, other wise.....

 

I analyze that back links are more important in yahoo & bing.

 

To be honest it's easy to get a good page rank in yahoo. In here I'm page 1 while in Google im at page 2.
