How to do video marketing?

Hello everyone, I am running a small blog. Sometime I will use videos to show my service or show a popular movie to attract the visitors. Recently when I am strolling in other forums I saw some posts talking about video market.

So what is video marketing exactly in your option? What will you do with your videos in your sites? Use video as ads? Or just for fun? What will you do with your video to get more attentions? Use a special player or add some special effects?

I think it is an interesting topic, so tell us your idea and the tools you will use.

I piggyback off YouTube and Blip.tv and make videos related to my niche. Most of the traffic to my blog comes from the following I've gained on YouTube. It's another way of creating and delivering value to fans.

You can create multiple promotion videos and send to multiple video sharing websites. YouTube is only one of them. Of course, with each video, you will also need to take care of inserting the right keyword or phrases into your video meta tag. PM me if you need further help or support.

    Cheers!

You can use TubeMogul for video marketing. It uploads your video once and then copies it in the background to all the popular video sharing websites like dailymotion, viddler, blip.tv, youtube, vimeo, etc. etc. Then traffic that originates in those sites comes to your site. That is the idea of video marketing.

Article video robot which convert all my article in videos with sound

What is that? How it can convert words to video? Very funny, and I know it is a good idea to publish video to video sharing sites. But will you use video just to keep your visitors? I mean I want to perfect the video itself but not submit it to other sites.

Do you think a cool player will help? I mean I now use Moyea PlayerBox to make special web player for my video, I think it will be useful but not proved. What is your option?

And what software do you use to edit your video? I use Flash Video MX Pro to edit my video and convert to FLV or SWF format.

You can find the softwares on
    http://www.player-box.com
    http://www.video-to-flash.com

I am planning to write a compare article to talk about what software will be the best to deal videos.

It depends on the type of video. For instance service videos are good for driving traffic to your site and getting ranked via utube and for enhancing conversion on your service pages. Viral videos are great for getting traffic and getting your message out there as people are passing it around. Then you have multimedia banners and advertisements to think about they heighten the cliskthrough rate and dwell time compared to static banner ads. All in all whatever you use the video for it is a great marketing tool.

    Hope this helps

talking about service videos, I know Camtasia is good. But it costs $ 299, the other software of the same company called: snagit only costs $ 49.95. I know how to use snagit to do what camtasia do. I am writing an article about it. :)

Post a few videos with catchy titles, then right before the climax hits, hit them with a "you must visit this link"

Video marketing is a good way to spread word about your site...

Here's what I do .. I grab 10-20 keywords related to my niche and create separate video for each keyword.. The videos don't have to be fancy, they just need to provide some good information .. If you have not created videos earlier then you can use Animoto or ArticlePostRobot to create them.. Make sure you watermark your video with a link to your site.

After creating videos you can post them to high ranking video sites such as Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Yahoo video and so on... Make sure that the title and description of the video contains the keyword that you want to target. Also don't forget to include a link back to your site. You can use a service like TubeMogul or TrafficGeyser to submit your videos to more than one site at one go...

Videos now account for over half of the web traffic (read that somewhere).. so it is a good idea to use them to promote your websites...

    Hope that helps,

Actually, you can also outsource your video production to external parties.
I do provide such services as well. You might want to take a look at http://onlinewebmarketingtips.com/buy-traffic/ for more details.

Video marketing is a great way to promote your product or service. Search engine loves video content.I agree with Traffic bug, Tubemogul is one great way to do video marketing. OF course, there is traffic geyser which is a powerful tool for video marketing as well.
