Ive got a brand new site with pr0,not cached by google. The site is here: www@angelsclub@com@au it related in dating,relationships... As you see, there few articles in it and some designs were not suitable for google's search.I'm trying to collect some good articles and find partners to exchange links. Can you give me some nice advice?? Thanks very much!~ welcome to visit my new site, and apperciate to exchange links with everybody.
Hi, you've a lot to learn... but we all have to start somewhere.... I'd start by doing a google search for "seo tutorial" and reading everything you can find. Bear in mind that some of it is out of date, or just plain wrong - so verify everything. I had a look at your site and you're using a macromedia splash page, and frames. These are BIG no no's for seo - your front page is your shop window as far as the SE's are concerned, and needs text because the SE's can't read a flash intro. For linking you can start with free, one-way directory submissions, and you can find new directories in the Directories > Solicitations and Announcments forum. Just find a good directory category, hit the "submit" button and enter a relevant title and description. Make sure you use different text every time, and keep a record of which directories you've submitted to, and the text you've used. After you've got a bit more experience, then you can start trying for exchange links. Cheers, Paz.
There are quite a few changes that would need to be made, the first one i can see is the titles your using. all those dots cant be good! (a description is also a must!) The actual site is quite nice, but your using flash for navigation, which again isnt helping your SEO. (you should at least put another text version somewhere on the site) Another thing I would do is tidy up your html. Use CSS rather than the '<font size="2">' etc. At the moment there is no content so cant really coment on your keyword usage etc It looks like its going to be a nice site though (liking the translation thing) Good luck!
I agree. I suggest that you put a real title for the site pages. Adding more content will also help you and more inbound links. Good luck('',)
To Paz,MamboCube and angelfire Thanks for the adivce I'll slove the failings one by one,and I edited the new title: AngelsClub-international dating, marriage, visa and migration to AUS,USA,CAN. if this title suit for the site?? Thanks
Submit directly to SE's... I know others might disagree, but I submit everything new to SE's by hand. Directory listings are always good... Get links on related sites! Re-submit to SE's every 3 months. Did I mention directory submission?
All good advise!!! One question,What is the use of resubmitting to SE's every three months when you are already in their index? Did you noticed differences by doing this ? Regards jeet
No problem, looking at the source i can see you are using an external css file, yet alot of your text has <font> tags (on some you have about 5 different ones for one word ) I would also suggest that you cut the images that you want as links, and use them as direct links, rather than using the hotspots. Really just tidy your code in general, better use of css and make sure you get a meta description in there! Good luck!, if you need any help, post here or you can even pm me
I've seen bumps in placement. It would appears that some SE's (I'm not saying which) seem to crawl an existing site as if it were new when a submissions is made. I have seen a consistent rise in SERPs doing this. YMMV.
My suggestion with new sites for building links, is as follows. 1. Submit to Directories. 2. Write PR articles on several key areas of your site, offering valuable information and not just fluff. 3. SLOWLY build links to other themed sites for at least 60 to 75 days. Google does not like to see huge increase in links, it looks unnatural. Depending on the size of your site will determine the rate at which you can acquire links. Dont just get links and point them all to your homepage, this is important, you must spread the links around to interior pages. 4. Create a blog, develope good solid blog post on every facet of your site linking back to those pages.
Did you notice that the original post is over 4 years old and that the site doesn't exist anymore? SY
