    Hi,

currently im working with thai restaurant to help them to do the marketing.
as the restaurant located in central business area, so the lunch time is always full. but the thing is, during the dinner time the restaurant is really dead as mostly in this area is office area.
is there any recommendation how to market this restaurant during dinner time?

    Thanks

Give their lunch-time customers BOGO "Best Customer" coupons to use during dinner time... They already like their food so many will come back, and they'll probably bring people with them that have never been - spreading awareness in the community.

    We actually provide a specialised cafe marketing service, so if you want some proper help, then just ask. But for general advice;

First get your marketing lists sorted. Either make sure you have flyers to distribute, a way for people to leave their details, I would say look at a Facebook page, and make sure you are listed on all the food websites etc. Then....

EVENTS! The number one way to get people to go somewhere.... is to organise something and give them a reason to go. For a Thai restaurant? Why not have a Moon Party, or a Thai feast or something. Get some local newspapers involved, promote the night as a once a month thing...

Change things up a little, offer delivery, take away, and then make sure you do a letter drop...

    1. Happy Hours
    2. Lady Nights
    3. Mix and Match / Appetizer and meal
    4. Get business card and create a website to update promotion
    5. Network with other business in the area
    6. Contact agencies to get tourists and etc.

    I'm in Thailand too.

    Hi All,

    thanks for the reply.
dinner coupons, happy hour is really good idea!

As the restaurant is a thai restaurant based in singapore, i don't think the tourist agencies want to bring the tourist to thai restaurant.

apart from that, how to do this? I would say look at a Facebook page, and make sure you are listed on all the food websites etc. Then....

Also start home delivery, so even if offices are closed, people can order.

Delivery would be a good idea in Singapore. You said that the lunch time is always full so why don't you take advantage of that and try to get them to come back for dinner with family or friends. Say a coupon with free draft after they order this appetizer or free two glasses of wine when you spend this amount of money during DINNER time.

pre-fixed 3-4 course meals would be good. throw in the free wine and you'll bring in lots of customers.
house wine is only a few bucks per box if you get them from distributors.
