How to do social bookmarking?

Frnds, am I doing wrong?

I just submit my title, URL and description in social bookmarking sites, but I heard somewhere that I should use contents instead of your site description.
Is this true? plz share your thoughts.

The description is a summary of the post for the url you submit.

You can also add your keywords if you haven't done that. (on most sites)

I think, it is not necessary use contents in description field.. You can use summary as well as "modified sentence" in the field of description. But one more thing, you use description of the post only not main site description..

 

You are doing it right. Not contents should be added in description box.

 

Adding description will help you to get more traffic if any one will search based on your description. You can use or not.. Its up to you.

 

I believe it is not compulsary to have different description.. you can use the same description as use in the website..

doesnt really matter, social bookmarking links arn't really the cream of the crop in google's eyes. Just focus on building a large volume of these links

 

I think the description should not be something copied from the site content. It must be different and attractive.

 

I think you should know how to summarized your site's content in the description . You need to make it look unique and interesting for them to like your site/blog.

Guys, I have a website with about 20 pages. Each page targets different keywords and I have added content to all. I would like to know if I have to social bookmark each page separately ???

first you need to create reputation in popular social bookmarking sites. so first few submission must be purely useful to your audience..

you have to submit your title,URL,description (not content) and also add keywords which required in some sites and select appropriate category.

 

Description is also one wat to attract visitors because they may refer to your descrition before they will click your link.

 

You can use relevant content also instead of site's description.... Its doesn't matter.
