How to do site analysis??

    I'm very new to seo.. can anyone say how to analyze the site. what are the important factors in analysis

    There are 200 factors, and the most important is:
    1. Speed of site
    2. Pagerank
    3. Backlinks
    4. Hosting and IP class
    5. etc.

    I think page rank is very important. Brings in your main traffic to your website.

    Backlinks are always good, sometimes in the "freebies" section of the forums here people give you free backlinks which can help your website out.

    Basically your advertising your website.

    To do site analysis there are many tools available in market. Some are pad and some are free. I am using website analizer tool called Website Grader. You can use it from their website websitegrader.com

    Other than that I also use web master tools and Google Analytic Tool. They can help you a lot in analyzing your website.

    If you know SEO than you can check manually on your own also. To analyze your website check following things

    (1) Web Site Content (Quality, should not copy and optimize)
    (2) Your Website inner page urls (Should be seo friendly)
    (3) On-page seo factors (Meta-data, Image alts, site navigation, javascript, flash etc..)
    (4) Your domain age
    (5) Your Website Page Rank
    (6) Your Website backlinks, number of pages crawled by SE, last crawled date
    (7) Sitemap.xml, robots.txt (If required)
