    You can place the title of your post as part of your link simply by editing the .htaccess.

    Word Press is the best thing you can have for SEO, provided you build a quality site.
    It is heavily SEO friendly.
    Look up "wordpress, SEO plug ins", and you will find may helpful, auto mated things to help you out, the rest is up to you.

    1) Change your URL structure to include category and post title
    2) add site map (not google xml site map)
    3) Make sure that every page has Meta tag description and keywords
    4) Make sure every page has title, which is usually the title of the post.
    5-100) gain links.
