How to do seo for different search engines.

Hello guys,I am doing some strong marketing seo research for my upcoming site but it when it comes to optimize your site for different the 3 major search engines(google,yahoo and bing) its confuses me.Google is the no 1 search engine and every webmasters first priority is to optimize his site for google but different search engines have different ranking requirements for example they have different keywords,backlinks etc requirements which determines the ranking of our site.So we cannot optimize our site for all search engines at the same time.So i have came to the conclusion that i should just concentrate on google optimization and later i will just submit my urls and sitemaps to yahoo and bing.Is this is a right decision?

as I know, for google, you need to get as much back link as you can for the particular keyword.

but I also no idea how to draw traffic from other search engine

 

I think, If you have user friendly site with quality content and have some back links, then you will automatically get good rank on different search engines.

 

I used to that problem before.. what i did is I used all the SE friendly site.. for example for yahoo.. I maximized the yahoo affiliate sites/services and dropping a link to it... bing is just the same..

 

Nah having good content and user friendly site will only be useful once users can find your site. Thats where SEO comes handy. I think you should concentrate on google only. Most of top sites get 70% of their traffic from google..

 

N ya backlinks (from good sites), meta keywords, and alt tags will help in ranking high in google. Of course having unique and useful content is a must once users start finding your site

All search engines share the basic rules the same, so if your site is coded correctly and you use quality keywords and content, then have backlinks, your site will show in all engines with priority.

 

One requirement that is needed to rank well in all search engines is to build unique content.

You mean that i should create anchor text link and put my keyword in it for creating a backlink for that particular keyword?

 

If you have the right keywords and backlinks and unique content for your site then you can be ranked well in the different search engines.
