Go to Google keyword planner. Type in your keywords. You can use ubbersuggest as a keyword suggestion tool for more keywords. Better choose long tail keyword where the competition is lower. Then look at the monthly search results. Keep it not to be more than about 30-50 000. Even keywords that have 1000 searches are good ones. Then search for this keyword with quotes "" on google. See the number of results. This will be your competing pages results. Don't choose keywords that get results more than 100 000. It will be very hard for you to compete when there are too many. The lower results the better. Around 30 000 results is perfect. Then check the pages that are displayed on the first page. Make the analysis and consider if you can compete against them. Then choose your keyword when it meets your criterias.
Go to Google keyword planner, and don't spend time with any other keyword research tool because all keyword tools take data from Google keyword planner so is the best for sure and totally free !
