PPC (pay per click) advertising can be done through Google Adwords, Yahoo, Microsoft Adcenter, or more ppc options here. You want to put figure out what keywords you want to bid on and what pages you want people to land on from your ads.

There are many tricks of the trade with PPC. It's not enough to just choose a budget, select some keywords and then let it run on auto. More often than not the account will fall flat on its face.

A lot of our new clients at PinkSheep are left confused as to why they've spent so much money and seen so little in return. Often the best thing to do involve constant work on your adverts and finding the best rank for your advert when it appears. However, having a well structured account is the single most important thing.

If you would like a free demo account designed for you then please PM me.

I just released a book (Project:pPC link in my sig) to help out fellow ppcers with some secret tips to really help you get ahead of the curve. I must admit though, even with all the books in your hands, you must test and experience to fully start getting a handle on the beast. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

PPC means Pay Per Click. Google Adwords, Microsoft Adcenter, and Yahoo! Search Marketing are sites that have Pay Per Click Advertising.

Whatever you do, learn the tricks first. I still remember my first campaign - ouch! NEVER think YOU know best - ALWAYS see how it is done by someone more experienced (or outsource it). You may have to pay for the best advice and simply watching the Google tutorials will only get you the basics (which are, of course, also important).

I would do as much research on the network before I would spend a dimeon ppc, this is not something you can do half ass and expect to profit
