OK I just found here https://www.paypal.com/IntegrationCenter/ic_masspay.html Paypal will charge 2% of amount or max $1 per payment to the buyer... So if buyer sends $10, he will be charged only 20 cents. And if he sends $100 or $1000 or $10000 (10k is max i suppose) - he will be charged $1 max. So i will always tell my buyer to pay via mass pay and I will ask him to pay $1 less
but how many buyers know how to use mass pay.. you just blow your sale becasue it is to much trouble for them to work out.. Most people are not a computer savy as the oneson the board. .
It dont require much skills. but yes, for large amount, you can ask the buyer to pay via mass pay. Also, if you want to send to 1 user, there is already 1 field there, no need to upload file.
so basically if i recieve payments via mass pay i willnot have to pay the 30cents + 2.45% transaction fee?
ofcourse. read my previous post... the sender/buyer pays the fee.. and thats $1 maximum for whatever amount he sends
I had written an e-book about this before. Anyone who wants to get the PDF e-book, can download it from: http://www.directoryer.com/How_To_Avoid_PayPal_Fees.pdf
Actually when it comes to Mass Pay, it is the one who receives payment which does not incur any fees. The Sender would incur fees of 2% but not more than $1 per person per transaction. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_batch-payment-benefits-outside
Yes it's $1 per transaction flat rate. Has anyone ever heard of any kind of dispute or chargeback using mass pay? I'm just thinking it could be a good method to receive payment for large amounts and have that added security of not receiving a chargeback like you can do with users who pay by CC ..
You can still dispute from a masspay I think. However they are done via paypal balance, so no chance of CC chargeback.
