How to do online transaction using Paypal?

    Can anybody tell me about the working of Paypal transactions for receiving money from abroad. Can I create an account in Paypal using SBI maestro debit card? Which type of debit Card and banks are used for this online purpose? Please suggest some ideas.

    Debit cards don't work with PayPal India. Get credit card from well-known bank and attach it with your PayPal account. You can send funds abroad using your credit card.

    you can have HDFC acc. which will give u facility of VCC(virtual credit card).u can create as much as vcc by loading money and use them with paypal.

    Ok thank you all for your suggestions.Is other banks such as icici, Federal bank, Punjab National bank etc not allow paypal facility?

    I am looking for Paypal either through ICICI or Punjab National bank Debit cards. I dont have Mastercard or Visa Card. Thus Is it possible with this?

    Apply for credit card from any public sector banks like SBI. You can go for ICICI or HDFC credit cards, but their charges are high.

    Most banks should give you credit card against Rs. 20000/- Fixed Deposit.

    Yes,you can create Paypal account for recieving money from abroad.but debit cards will not work so you have to get Credit Card to work with Paypal :)
