Upload a video that in interesting (like when Kanye took the mic from Taylor Swift), put a link to your forum on the video, and watch the hits come in. You'll have to keep recycling this method though.
Go to the google trends page, look to see what people are searching for that day. Make a video, or videos, related to those topics. Either embed your link on the video using some video editing software, put the link in the description, or use those messages you can put on the video on youtube. This way you know youre making content that people are looking for.
the key is to build the momentum, you can do the following : - do your keyword reasearch -make a list of 30 keywrds -make and upload at least 5 videos to youtube every day and use your keywords in the tags and title -target a keyword everyday and post the link to your forum in the descreption and anotate all your videos with your link after a month of doing this process, you must be getting at least 300 visits a day every dayfor the next few months but you must keep building ... i'v done it and it works but not with a forum actually, but the key is getting traffic and this method works .
