I think its not as complicated as what you've think after all, based on my own opinion, the first thing to do in keyword research is to compile first a list of keywords that you wanted to include in your write ups like articles. You may find after some keyword research tool to compile and create a data. Start conducting keyword research, and the rest will just follow, i rather suggest also to visit some BPO Service Provider that caters to that work that you wanted to do. you may visit this site for some assistance..outsourceit2philippines.com
Keyword research is a simple process through search engine, first we need to search the relative keyword which you want to do search from google adwords. After that that keyword you can search in search engine.
Become a member of the Keyword Academy, they specialize in teaching the fine art of Keywords ;-) To answer your question: A keyword or keywords more often is what people that look for certain information or products type into the Google Search bar. The more people look for something the more potential traffic you have to a website that covers this keyword. The less people have a website in the same niche, the lower your competition (simplified). The ideal keyword/niche to build a site around is to find something that many people are interested in and only a few sites exist about. Very simplified ;-) SY
Use Google free service Google Adword. It will provide all things which are associated with Keywords.
Use the free Google keywords tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal). Enter some initial keywords that you think people might type in your niche. Google's keyword tool will come up with some other suggestions also. You should target keywords which have more than 2000 'broad' searches per month AND which have less than 50,000-60,000 'phrase' match results. (use the keyword you get from Google keyword tool and search for the keyword with quotation marks and look at the number of results). Why should you use quotation marks when you do keyword research? You should use quotation marks because when you conduct a search without the quotation marks, you get results that contain your keywords in ANY COMBINATION, but if you conduct a search with quotes, you will get results from pages that only contain your EXACT keyword phrase. This will give you the true idea of how many pages you are competing with for your keywords. So a keyword like 'cheapest flight to Newyork' might have 700,000 results without quotes, but 40,000 results with quotes. If you search without quotes, the results which appear might have the keywords that are not necessarily in that particular order or might contain only two words in the keyword phrase. Any keyword with searches below 2000 will not be profitable enough. And any keyword which has results in google above 60000-70000 will be too tough. It doesn't matter if it is a long tail (more words) or a short tail (less words) keyword. If the particular keyword meets the above criteria, then you should be ok. But that said, MOST of the short tail keywords are gone now. They do not meet the above criteria. They went like 10 years ago. So you will have to concentrate on long tail keywords.
Keywords can be researched through adwords.com. By where you can do the monthly search for the keywords and use google to find the competition on it.
Really you provide us good knowledge about keyword search, i hope for keyword research we have to search manually because no any tool can give us a exact result. and through manual research we also create my own thought with our common sense. Thank's Warm regard's Fragrance
these are all very helpful replies and there's just one thing missing. Where do I fit in with my niche, the competition is so vast what can I concentrate on? Can I pick upcoming new releases titles of movies and use those as keywords or is that even still too out of my league????
