Ok lets say that I have "Plan #1" which is currently being sold at $1 but i wish to change it to $2, how do I change price of this plan without affecting clients currently on this plan.

Basically I want people already on this plan to pay $1 p/m
but i want new people to pay $2 p/m

Its just a prize freeze i am implementing.

    BTW I'm using WHMCS

    Thank you

From what i know when you change the price of the products it wont change the price of that for the customers they have to pay the price of what they bought it for .. i havent worked with whmcs a lot only for clients so not totally sure

Just provide a coupon code for the customers you have on account or create a custom billing solution for them.

Hide the $1 plan and create a $2 plan. its the quick fix
Creating a $1coupon for existing customers for next renewal and change price to $2 will be a choice as well

If you change the price of current plan then it would reflect in the accounts of old clients as well. You will have to create a new group and duplicate the products in it. In the new group you can change the product prices and you will also get a new URL to order these products.

    Create a New Group :

Login to WHMCS -> Configuration -> Product Services -> Create a New Group

    Duplicate a Product :

Login to WHMCS -> Configuration -> Product Services -> Duplicate Product (In Existing Product Select for ex "Plan #1" and New Product Name add "Plan #One")....the new product will be created.

Open the new product and select the Group which you have created. Go to pricing and change the price. :)

The better option is to create a new plan instead of editing exiting plan.
