How To Do Domain Forwarding In Godaddy?

I have setup the domain forwarding and changed the DNS to the parked domain DNS. What should I do next?

I have already read that, and followed all the instructions... but I overlook that I need to wait up to 24hours.

Just another question, is the domain forwarding applies to the whole directory?

Something like if the visitor type mydomain.com/aabbpaosnfas
den it will be redirected to redirecteddomain.com?

I forwarded the domain which is not parked at them (godaddy) but have custom nameservers. Does that mean it won't work if I wait 24 hours. I mean system did not say "you can not forward this domain because it is not parked with us" ... ?
