How To Do A Non-Personalized Google Search?

I'd like an easy way to do a generic search for my target keywords to see what the generic results are. It's confusing to see how the sites I want to rank highly are ranked for everyone else (because I click on them when I search for my target keywords I guess?) ... It seemed like in the "old days" I could just log out of my Google account and I would be able to get non-personalized search results - but that doesn't seem to do the trick anymore. Is there a site I can search on to get non-personalized search results? (ie the results that a random person would get if they were searching for a term for the first time.)

After any search, you should see "History" in top right, disable that.

I did try it without being in my Google account. Prior to recently that seemed to do the trick for me... but just recently it seemed like I was getting "personalized" results even when I was logged out of my account. But what Bomba recommended seems to be working (whether I'm signed in or not.)

At the end of Dec 09 Google started personalising results even when you are not logged in.

The solution is to do a search, add &pws=0 to the end of the url and click Go

I can't do links yet but if you search for &pws=0 you'll find things others have made to help - Firefox add-ons, bookmarklets etc.
