How to do 301 redirect to get maximum SEO benefits?

I have 3 websites, almost doing the same job for my business. Lately, I find it hard to update the 3 sites. So I have decided that I will keep the major site and redirect the other 2 to the main site. Since I have done lots of marketing for all 3 site for years, I want to do a 301 redirect for 2 sites because I know I can get all SEO benefits by doing so. So here is the question.

How can do the 301 redirect?
If it is some codes, where will I paste it? Should I do that in the GoDaddy account or doing something in the website?

I have no clue. (Also I'm not a programmer, so please be patient to explain it in detail)

    Thanks so much in advance!

You can redirect the other two domains to your main site through your domain registrar site.

I know only about namecheap.com. I just select the domain and choose "URL FORWARD" link and in there I type the URL to which I want to redirect that domain and that's all.

    Hope it helps.

By doing that way will it "officially" qualify for 301 redirect in the eyes of Google?

    Please help me!
