Hello everyone, I am looking to take a product of mine, which i trade domestically out in the internet world. Research has been done. We have a budget of $10,000-15,000 to start with for IM + SEO, can you guys suggest me some good ideas on how to use this money (distribute effectively), it will be a selling website, we will be selling a product. Also I was wondering if I can outsource internet marketing + SEO to India/Pakistan (heard Pakistan is cheaper, but not sure on the quality of work) if anyone can suggest good companies or someone over here from these countries, other than suggesting me e-lance.
I would suggest conducting as much online research as possible so that you can carry out effective online marketing campaigns that would include, all aspects of the marketing process.
You don't have to spend all at once, right? Just try to find someone to help you with onpage & offpage SEO optimization for your website first. A lot of my client are clueless on how much to spend on this, so I usually offer them something that starts at a very good price - $200. I am not sure what others are offering here, their price might be cheaper, so if that's what you want, then I guess it's not a problem to find that here too. And make sure you get professional writer to write press release for you on regular basis too because if it's done correctly, you can get lots of exposure for your business instantly.
I think this would depend greatly on the type of product you are selling... It's tough to provide this sort of advice without more info.
I agree - hard without knowing exactly what you are going to sell. However, I would suggest investing in some education and intelligence gathering first. Buy some keywords using ppc before you spend money on SEO - as this will let you figure out which keywords are converting. So I guess that my advice would be to start with ppc. Test some keywords and landing pages to drive to figure out what converts. For some additional information, here is an article on budgeting your internet marketing dollars.
