How to discover XML feed?

I'm manually aggregating RSS feeds. This works fine when I know what the XML URL is. However, some sites don't list the feedpage. For example:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/MainFeed.aspx?Type=AllBlogs

IE and other aggregators do a process called discovering were they somehow find the XML for this feed. Using the above page as an example, how do I get the RSS XML?

I've found a solution. The webpage renders as normal and the XML is embedded in it. Aggregators don't need to make any changes.

You can use the Google Toolbar, if the current page has a feed you'll see the "Subscribe" button active.
You can enable that throught the "Options", and there you can choose your preferred reader: Google Reader, Bloglines, My Yahoo, Newsgator, Pluck ...
