How to Disallow Sub Domain with Robots.txt?

I am useing cpanel to host multiple domains.

When I create an add-on domain and point it to folder, cPanel automaticly make a sub domain of the main domain that can not be removed.

So how do I disallow the subdomain crawl so that there is no duplicate content?

Is it possible to do a 301 redirect from the Robots.txt for the sub domain to the add-on domain?

This is a huge problem that I don't think can be fixed. The only option I've ever heard of is to upgrade your hosting so that your add-on domain will be one of the primary domains since you are probably on a shared server.

A workaround is to just simply ignore it and never link to it. Google will obviously choose the domain over the subdomain. You can also try putting a canonical meta tag on the home page.

    Alright, got it worked out.

In Cpannel under the domain section, click 301 Redirects. This is an interface to do 301 redirect with htaccess file.

Works. Just getting use to using cpannel. Things are a little more "Manual" then some other hosting control Pannels
