Hi Guys, i believe that this question has been asked a thousand times and i have used the search function. I used a few methods described by the helpful DP members but i cant seem to make it work.

How do i directly link to the payment page of a merchant without going through the sales copy of the merchant.

    Thanks:D

I covered this somewhere else however someone might have more help to add:

    1. I do not think you can technically (hmmm), nor would I advise you to though.

    2. ClickBank forces vendors to show their visitors specific info i.e. disclaimers, contact info, refund policies etc. Even you duped all that, pretty sure vendors would not like being vulnerable (perhaps I'm wrong, a sale is a sale?), as a vendor I wouldn't like that though.

    3. Vendors usually take a lot of time/money/effort to write their sales page, chances are that if it's converting or popular, that's why. Sooner or later, on this board you'll read "don't try to outsell the seller", i think that's applicable.

Not do down your efforts, just being real :)
    Best of luck with biz.

    http://1.xxxxx_yyyyy.pay.clickbank.net

1: The product number (this is normally 1 but you'll need to double-check to see what the merchant is using - IMPORTANT!)
xxxxx: Your ClickBank ID (don't forget the underscore)
    yyyyy: The Merchant/Seller ID

    That's it.

    NCM,

i dont know whether i should agree or not.

"Sooner or later, on this board you'll read "don't try to outsell the seller"..this is certainly true if there is something like a unwritten "morale standard" and affiliates would adhere to this out of politeness for the original vendor.

But: By putting a product on CB, dont i give permission to anyone out there to market my product in any way ?

I cant go and put a book or similiar on CB and then make some ristrictions ?

Usually i always see vendors being happy if you promote, even if you copy their sites...whatever. A sale is a sale, i got a chunk so gets he. If he thinks he HIMSELF needs more sales he should reduce commission.

He cant go on CB and advertize his product and offer/lure many affiliates with 75% commission and then complain about that his sales are not that great...doesnt make sense :)

In a way I do agree, and yes the 1.xxxx.vendor. payment link is the easiest way. Just think its a bit taboo to go that way. Glad others have enlightened me. If it works, and vendors/CB don't complain or stand in the way, then I stand corrected, thanks :)

I know of sellers who have used the above and then Clickbank has removed the commission for that product due to bypassing the sales page, so you are right. In that instance though, the seller reported it to CB rather than CB noticing. I have a feeling CB turns a blind eye.

If you ask the seller though, they will sometimes let you do it, However. They'll often want to approve your page first. :)

So are you talking about directly copying the entire sales letter to your own domain and linking the buy now button to the sellers clickbank?

If I'm not wrong, the code given above does not cookie the visitor. Hence, if you are not cookie'ing the visitor on the background, you won't get credited with the sale at all.

If you follow the above you will get credited with the sale. It links to the payment page through you own id. With that being the case, YOU DO get the sale under your own ID, so I assume they'll be cookied upon visiting the purchasing page.

Also, and it's worth noting, if you're desperate to ensure they get cookied when viewing your own sales page, prior to clicking 'buy', cookie them on your own sales page, it's not the hardest thing to do. ;)

You're right though the cookie doesn't drop with that method

What if you used a frame for the affiliate page at 1% and the thank you page at 99%

That should drop the cookie shouldn't it?
