How to direct adwords traffic straight to advertiser site?

I would like to use adwords to generate traffic and have the traffic go straight to the landing page of the CJ advertiser.
Their TOS doesn't say anything about doing this, so I assume it's ok.
HOW do I do it, so that I get paid???
The links and banners they have on CJ are made to put on a website of your own.

Thanks in advance for your insight on this.

Just use the href in the html link of the add and it should work.

What I would do though is contact the advertiser and ask permission and instructions. You don't want to make an advertiser angry and get kicked out of their campaign.

I can confirm that it does work, the way JesterMagic explained, but it's always best to confirm it with CJ first because they're the ones who control whether they're going to pay you or not... :)

Check the Keyword Link and any Special Terms that an advertiser has - many advertisers don't allow affiliates to send PPC traffic directly.

I have been banned once on Axill for doing this. So its waste of time and energy.

tvmatt answered this right on. There's a place where you can check if they allow keywords/suggestions and terms.

I would advise you to browse around here and learn about creating landing pages and increasing quality score for your adwords campaigns. Eventually you will get to learning this so your profit margin can increase ;)

Very bad idea to send traffic directly to the merchant. Even ebay pulled the plug on this a few months back.

I use a lot of direct PPC, of course ebay banned it, directing staright to ebay will give higher quality score and you just sit back. Smaller companies and some large ones DO ALLOW direct linking and use of their url. This can mean nicely priced ppc and some sales.

So in other words it can be good if you can get it right. If the advertiser does not say no in its keyword policy of special terms then i see no reason to ask just go ahead.

Though I have no authority on the subject of commission junction, I have learned from these forums that it's a good idea to use a landing page, that way at least you can capture their name and email address. That way, you can sell to them in the future, increasing probability of sales and ROI :)
