    you can look in the freebies section of the forum, but most .edu links are going to be paid...or just temporary.

    I think it will be better to search .org and .edu domains using some Search Engine like G and find forums or blogs, and post there or get links from them.

    I think free .edu link is too difficult to get but it is not impossible at all.

    they are reserved sites and they need not to promotion, that's why it is difficult to collect these type of links.

    .orgs are easy to develop, just do normal link building and everything is fine.

    .edu are also easy to develop, but majority of those must be built by finding related sites with .edu urls
