    Hi there,

I want to know that how can we determine that the pages of our website require Redirect 301 method to be set.?

Is this method allowed by search engines such as Google or not?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards

The 301 redirect should be used when an old URL (address) must be replaced by a new one. It is understood and accepted by all major search engines.

if the page has been indexed by a search engine then you rename or change the page url name then you need to do a 301 redirect.

to check what pages of you site has been index try site:www.yourdomainname.xyz into any of the major search engines.
