Does anyone know of a good resource for determining the profitability of niche. I am looking for resources that show annual sales by product or industry from online sales. For example how many garden hoses are ordered online each year?.
This is easy to compare. You can search for the trade database from your local trade union and compare the same niche company sales volume to your company sales volume.
Maybe you have more info them me but when I have been able to find company sales volume they do not break it down to specific online products. It usually just says something like total sales XX,XXX and some break it down to: retails sales, online sales, etc. I am trying to find details on specific types of products, not brands but types.
