Today if you search for any term google will give you a lot of results. For usual words, or phrases you'll recive milions results.Ok now you can recive mountains of results, but the first page is always the most important.

Now if I want to reach one place ( 1,2 or 3 ) for that keyword what I have to analyze at my competitors ? First meta, links and ? How I can beat one competitor ? Advices.

How old is your site? How many backlinks do you have?

Of course it's always better if there's less competition.

Take a look at NicheBot. It will give you a pretty good idea on how competitive certain markets are.

I wouldn't hope for any great results in a competitive market until my site was at least 9-12 months old, and 6 months for not so competitive.

And of course, the more quality related links, the better.

wait for some time, and keep gradually increase your backlinks. try to get good pagerank links rather then low pageranks. even if u can manage to get few PR6+ links they would do rather then getting hunderds of other links. and of course they should be relevent to your website.

Check how many links your competitor has and try and submit your site to some of the sites your competitor is linked to.
