How to determine .edu backlinks on google?

    You can find a complete list of Google Advanced Operators at the GoogleGuide site. Many of the operators will simply help in refining your searches for better results. Some can be used to learn more about your website and the websites of your competition. You’ll use most of the operators in the same way by typing operator:keyword.     Hi Guia,

    im aware of the basic operators as posted in the blogs you suggested. but i need to know how to determine the .edu backlinks - is an operator at all available to determine backlinks? i can try tweaking it for edu later..

    Not that the .edu or .gov TLDs actually get any bonus...

    In fact it does, edu and gov are weighed more on google...is there any operator combination anyone can suggest?

    flowers inurl:edu

    Do you have any evidence to back this up? i mean why would google place a higher weight on backlinks from different tld's? if thats the case a link from a primary school site automatically has more weight than a large reputable company?
