I think the thread title is clear enough. How can i detect a VB forum has signatures enabled before registering?

This becomes difficult to detect for some forums (e.g. basketball forums). I guess since they are not much interested with webmastering issues, it seems that they dont use signatures much. So i can not be sure whther signatures are allowed or not in that case.

    :)

Many forums out there allow signatures for members but cloak them from search engines or add a nofollow to links.

Of course, not. I am looking for high quality forums with signatures enabled on several niches (football, basketball, technology...) Then i will hire people to post to those forums..

I am looking at the previous posts to find signatures but asked this question for your opinions since there may be a quicker way that i could not think of.

Also click on members list and sort by total posts.

    Then check their profiles...

Usually top posters will use sigs if enabled.

    Hope that helps.
