Do you know exactly why your ad was disapproved? I assume it was for violating a landing page policy?

The link to the Adwords guidelines and policies is here: adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/static.py?page=guidelines.cs

Follow them and you won't have a problem.

It's not problem with landing page but it is promoted offer usually!

Google hates affiliates! Don't promote ClickBank or CPA.

If you want to stay safe promote just physical products - Amazon. Commision Junction, Ebay etc. That should be ok but with Google you never know.

You will have a problem! Google guidelines and policies are a crap! You can even promote some personal development products!

Be careful when using adwords. I do not recommend using a very general set of keywords like "make money" as you'll just burn out all your credits from the multitude of people searching for those keywords. Keep adwords keywords targeted to your product's niche.

Target niching with google adwords is extremely important for anyone one a tight budget. Use keywords with low CPC and I always turn on max bid CPC to prevent really high bids from eating up my money.

I agree with exilonv about keywords. Target carefully, cap the CPC, and, to add, I would avoid the display network beyond Google itself, such traffic is questionable.

As I said, follow the guidelines. If you provide a link, I'll give my opinion if it does or not.

By the way, it's not true that Google hates affiliates. They hate sites that don't adhere to their rules. Many of those happen to be affiliate sites.

How about building some content in addition to your one-page website. Maybe break your one long page into several shorter different pages? Landing page optimisation is an art and from my experience these long pages rarely work well. People's attention spans are getting shorter and shorter - so keep it simple. Short is better.
