How to design a website as a beginner?

Well i am new to web design and i wanted to start with a couple of small designs. I am looking for some tools, templates and web design articles to show me the way. also is there a site that can give me all that in one place?
meaning i can build on its servers get space and stuff like that.

Another one that you can try is Google Sites.

 

Depends on if you want to be a designer or a marketer.

If you just want to market then pick a platform and find a template and leave the designing to the designers. Wordpress gives you all the information you need to install and set up right on their site. And it's free software so the price is perfect for anyone just starting out.
