how to design a webpage

    Hmm interesting - so you all use graphics as the basis of your design? Interesting.

    For me graphics is just a "garnish" for all of my sites. The designs are 95% HTML, then with some graphics "on top of" to make them nice to look at etc after the design has been finished (i.e. CSS etc done). I've never even used photoshop! :D

    For those of you that use this graphics approach, out of interest how long have you/were you using a HTML table layout approach, compared to CSS+DIVs?

    Not exactly. I design the page in Photoshop becoz it give much more flexibility in testing different color combinations and layouts. It will much more difficult to do the same in Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Even if its a (X)HTML + CSS only page, I will be designing it first in PS.

    I treat my graphics as garnishings too, thought i find my color scheme using photoshop first b4 i start coding.
