    Hey,

We have a site and we are having problems with emails that are going into spam folders, first problem is that it is going into spam and not many find it, the second problem and maybe more serious is that spam emails are received after 12 hours!

me and my partner are pulling our hairs on how to make that the emails will go right away, to in box and not to spam folders.

What options exists to make that happen?

    Robert

Do you have a SPF record?

Add one, if you haven't already since if this continues, you'll have your mail always in spam, and MSN won't even deliver your email.

Is this your own dedicated server? or are you on a shared hosting server?

Delivering automated emails these days requires a very clean email path.

SPF, reverse records, clean headers, clean email, no blacklisting. The whole nine yards. Heuristic scoring is a real pain.

For example, "daily web analytics report" is classified by spamassassin as containing a adult oriented subject line.

SPF records are good for every hosting provider/domain. They make the domain under trusted ones. MSN blocks such emails without good records. While other provider send them to spam.

Also, check on DNSStuff.com and Domaintools.com for more info about the domain blacklist status etc. dnsstuff would provide you much more information which could be helpful in solving such issues.

Automated emails are sent for email confirmation and should be sent when action occurs on site.. we have installed SPF records and seems hotmail emails are getting into inbox but they are marked as a risk email. gmails are also going well. not sure about msn... but yahoo needs domain keys.

what do u mean by: reverse records, clean headers, clean email, no blacklisting

what are those reverse records and how can they help? also what's blacklisting.

also what do u mean by GOOD SPF records?
