How to delete profile without deleting fan page.

    The company I work for has a facebook profile with their brand name. They have also created a fan page which is connected to this profile.

    1. Does it make sense to keep the profile? As far as I know companies don't usually have profiles, they have pages.

    2. How can I delete the profile without deleting the page? Do I HAVE to delete everything and start from scratch creating the page with my personal account?

    1. If the profile has a lot of "friends", keep it. You can still promote the business there.

    2. First you need to transfer the page to other people - make them admin. And then delete the profile. The fan page should be safe.

    I have to confirm , if it is fan page you can delete fan page profile. But if it is profile only with no fan page ,you can't delete it.

    Just change the admin power to some other account and deactivate the account.
    Simple !
