How to delete files?

    Hello,

    My server is with Centos OS. I have a cache directory which has tons of scrap files. I am unable to delete it. rm -rf dirname gives an error.

    Is there any way to remove this directory quickly.

    Is it a directory within your web structure or a system file? If it's within your web structure, I find logging in via the control panel and deleting via file the quickest way to do it. It literally removes huge folders/files immediately without needing to wait for FTP to delete it slowly.

    yes, its with in web directory folders/files.

    How to erase it.? What is the command?

    Just login to your web admin, navigate to the site, open up file manager and remove it there.
