How to delete a profile?

I wonder how can I delete a profile of one of my websites in my Google Analytics account? I have been searching for this information, but have not found anything.

 

You can't. Once it's there, it's there forever.

Google keep data stored for as long as they want.

 

That's strange. I wanted to delete some of my Analytics properties, as I have reached the limit of 50 profiles for one account. So the only solution for me now is to create another Analytics account, am I right?

 

To delete your profile:

Sign in to your Website profile.
Click Edit profile.
Click the About tab.
Click Delete profile and disable Google Buzz completely.
Click Yes, delete my profile and posts.

 

You mean to say that we have to delete our account for that!

 

Yes thats is the only way to get it deleted.

 

You can see the option in setting easily.

 

By login your account then go to the setting and kindly delete your profile.

You can delete your profile, but not profile for one domain you are tracking.

 

My answer will explain how to delete your GA profile-

• Sign in to your GA account and click on the admin tab
• Now select one profile which you plan to delete
• Now visit Account setting if you want to delete that profile

If you want to delete a website from that profile then select that property and visit profile settings and delete that property.

2. Click the account that contains the profile you want to delete.
   
3. Click the web property from which you want to delete the profile.
   
4. Use the Profile menu to select the profile.
   
5. Click the Profile Settings tab.
   
6. Click Delete this profile at the bottom of the page.
   
7. Click Delete in the confirmation message.
