How to Delete a Guide in Illustrator CS5.1?

    I'm trying to delete (remove) a guide in my Illustrator document that I no longer need, but I have no idea how to do that. I don't want to delete all guides, just a particular one.

    I found this tutorial on Youtube: but it somehow doesn't seem to work in the Illustrator version that I'm using (I have CS5.1).

    Just click on the guide line with the Selection Tool and hit Del key

    Maybe you have lock the guide. Try to uncheck View>Guides>Lock Guides.

    After unlocking the guide, use "Selection Tools (V)" to click on the guide and press "Del" for deleting it.
