You can request to remove pages from Google's index:

You can try adding lines in your robots.txt file to prevent all search engines from crawling your pages. Won't necessarily result in immediate de-indexing, put would be interesting to see how long you would stay indexed.

Another fun thing to try would be adding your link to as many FFA pages as possible, trading links with tons of viagra, porn and casino sites, and pointing 100k of coop weight to your site.

This robots.txt should do it :
    User-agent: Googlebot
    Disallow:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /
    Code (markup):
No robot allowed except Googlebot !

Robots.txt will do it, but if your pages are already indexed it will take an eternity to get them removed.

Add a cloacking page with an 301 redirect for search engines and a normal page for users?!

Also you may just read the HTTP_REFERR header in order to see if a user is coming from google/yahoo/msn and print on the screen an "I don't like people from SE"

Hmm..I been thinking of doing this too. My indexing has been terrible and I wonder if I tell google to remove all my pages from it's index then wait a few weeks and request indexing...if I will do better.

    Anyone do this before?

I used the Google URL removal page for one of my site's that was all messed up in the index. Thought I'd clean it out and start fresh. Took 1 day to completely purge my site. What I didn't think about is, it took away all of my PR, which were tons of PR4 + pages.

Googlebot comes back now, but I am not indexed again as of yet.

Sure hope I get my PR back when I am indexed again.

I have a site returning 35,000+ non-existing pages after submit it for removal a thousand times for the past 2 years when such pages disappeared and yet not results.

and that includes nofollow metatags, deny robotos and the removal tool itself

If you are looking for a sort of rank to content set up.. Just buy more domains.. with similar content.. the rest will show in time..

I have 4 domains with 4 shopping carts.. and had the time to see which set up worked best for msn, goodle, and yahoo rankings..
