how to decrease bounce rate ?

I am using site front page as landing page for medical transcription services kws . Even though, bounce rate is high ... do i have to try for any other non competitive keywords .

Biggest thing is to look at your analytics and observe which pages have high bounce rates and which ones have low. Why do you think that is?

 

you have need to add the content in the landing page relaated with the keywords so that they can find related to their query and read it

 

you should be looking to keep you're bounce rate below 50 percent

 

Respectful Bounce rate is anything between 30 -50%. You could use some special offers and mention that in your AD.

I give an overall view:
- If your site has a bounce percentage lower then 30%, you can be very proud and need a rest, instead of working day and night on your site!
- Bounce percentage between 30% and 40%: congratulations, you are doing better than the average!
- Bounce percentage 40% - 50%: good job, you're in between the average. However, as in everything, you still need to continue your job in SEO, content writing. Keep your visitors happy as they are now!
- Bounce percentage between 50% and 60%: it's not the end of the world. Yes, you CAN and need to lower it...however, don't get depressed, you still have good content, so don't start all over!
- Bounce percentage above 60%: think of what visitors you're getting. What are they looking for? Do they find this on your website? Is your site loading slow? You don't have that much time to work on your website? Hire a SEO engineer, it will be worth it!

Concentrate on writing more useful and meaning content and do seo and your site must have user friendly design.According to me this decreases bounce rate to some extent.

 

I have the same problem as you. Agree with Radha...you could probably try writing more useful and interesting content to engage your readers so that they can stay on the page longer.

 

Interlinking your contents helps your bounce rate higher. And of course good contents.

 

Make a relative video for the page and put your link just below the video, this will help with bounce rate

 

To decrease bounce rate,You have to create a better website first.Create web pages for Visitors, not for the search engines.Then do SEO for it and also do SMO for it.
