I have a website www.malignantmelanomaskincancer.com which is a typical direct marketing website. It makes about 2-4 conversions a day averaging about $8-$12 which is pretty good i must say. Despite all the bounce rate is about 88% and thats quite understandable as the site has direct marketing structure. What can I do to decrease bounce rate without loosing conversions?
The page looks too much like a gimmicky sales letter. Change the style. That would help you out a lot.
I would never be able to target people who are looking for a cure from cancer (people who are going to die soon and are looking for hope). I guess I just won't go there...
How many visitors are you getting to get 2-4 daily conversions? Please let me know. I can't imagine buying anything online with the contact information you provide, none besides email form. Your site has no credibility. Personally I would completely kill that whole layout, and make it appear like a real site. If you are looking for a quick fix that will increase the percentage of sales though, try putting one of your "Order Here" buttons next to the book. That way people see you are trying to sell a book right from the beginning.
