How to deal with WordPress updates?

I'm no techie, and I'm trying to think out a way in which I could update my WP (almost?) automatically. I know that the whole thing doesn't take that much time, but nevertheless.. if I were to have x (not to mention xx or even xxx blogs) it would take *a lot*. Any idea? Maybe some of you know any auto-wp-update-plugin or something like that? Another option I though of is to try some host like Dreamhost, where you can get a one-click Wordpress installation.. Does any of you know any host which has one-click updates as well? ;/

!! That's exactly what I wanted.. The only disadvantage of this plugin seems that it may not work at every configuration (that's what I read on the linked website anyway). Nevertheless, thank you! :D Waiting for other alternative ideas / some infos about 1click updates.. ;)

Does your host have a pre-installed script library like Fantastico? I know a lot of web hosts are offering it or something similar and in my experience, it can be accessed from cPanel. It has the one click installation that you mentioned and usually does a pretty good job of staying up to date with new releases, which makes it equally as easy to update. I haven't had any problems with it so far, so if you're thinking about changing hosts in the future, try looking into one that has Fantastico.

I think it only works if you had previously installed WP with Fantastico, though. :) It will also tell you not to update if you added mods to your blog, but I've updated successfully every time without any problems. Hope this helps!
