If you can make a website and get some few or much traffic to it, that's fine but what if you don't have anything to offer for your site visitors yourself bc you don't have your own business or product or service? What to do then? How can you prevent such a situation? How to monetize that traffic then? Yes, you know how to make a website but you're not able to really profit from it bc you don't offer anything yourself. Isn't having a real business where you actually produce a product or offer a service much more lucrative?
I think you should look into Upwork. Its a place where people sell their services. If you can build a site then maybe someone will be interested in you to hire for their site.
Finding products is simple. What is your website's subject area/niche? Go to Clickbank, JVzoo, CJ, Amazon, and/or Warrior +. Plenty of affiliate products available for you to market. Just get an account to market them. Some affiliate platforms require approval from the vendors. Just make sure the products you choose to market are related to the subject of your website and I advise that you purchase the product(s) and try them yourself before you start advertising them. You don't want to try to sell something to somebody without knowing if it works or if it is pure garbage - do you? Doing that will lose you customers real fast.
You can give high-quality content, useful information. Another way is to combine your skills with a partner. You can find a person with a service and help them develop.
