How to deal with a not-responding service provider

    I posted a JOB at dp for a PHP script, service provider shows me online working fine at his server. I made payment for the same. Now he is not replying me. I wasted a lot of time keep on requesting to get this job done. But no reply.

    I dont have script files with me.

    Would you tell me how to deal with this....?

    Should i ask PAYPAL to get my amount back to me...

    Initiate a chargeback in paypal.

    Paypal will freeze the amount of money in his account so he can't withdraw it until the issue is resolved, which paypal pretty much just sides with the person who sent the money in the first place.

    It can swing either way with PayPal disputes. If you don't provide enough evidence to them they'll usually say "sorry, there's nothing we can do" due to the item not being a physical or "real" one.

    Thats work members.
    I have updated the sevice provider, that i' am going to get this amount freezed with PAYPAL, i got that job done in 24 hours or less, its working fine now with some minor problems, he is rectifiying those as well. But at least i know this is on the right track.
