The main thing you need to focus on is to create a custom audience. You need to pull people's UIDs from FB groups or pages that correlate with the stuff you are advertising. Once you gather the UIDs you need to import the list into your dashboard while creating the ad. Because of the fact that your ad is now super targeted and is pretty much using the kind of audience no one else is targeting, you will get very high clickthroughs and also very low CPC. When it comes to UID scraper, you can easily Google it. I'm not going to promote it here.
This isn't completely accurate. When you run a targeted campaign on FB, you typically use relevant interests and FB decides who to display the ads to, based on what you put in. So while your type of campaign may be "super-targeted", in that you have preselected a certain category of individuals, who's to say they're not also being targeted by other campaigns as well? If someone in your target audience has "Outdoors" as an interest and a hunting gear company stipulates the target interest is "outdoors", they will see their ads.
I don't mess with FB standard targeting. Like I said I run a software that extracts UIDs of users from certain pages of interest. Like if I wanted to target surgeons, I would go to some kind of surgeons association FB page and extract UID of all the active people there who recently commented or liked the page and then use these UIDs for creating a custom audience in FB ad settings. The price for click for such custom audience is usually 50% of the price you'd get if you did the standard targeting. Hope this makes sense now.
That makes sense. You'd definitely have more control over who sees those ads. Which software are you using, FB Scraper? Do you know of any free scraper programs you could use?
