How to Cut & Paste HTML Banner Codes into CJ Website.

I am sure that I am doing something very wrong, and it is a very simple solution, but when I attempt to cut and paste the HTML banner codes into the body of my CJ website, it just shows the HTML code, and not the actual banner. How can I get the HTML to transform into the actual banner on my website. I have someone doing it for me, and I want to do it myself, but everytime I try it it does not work for me. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thank You.

Paste it into the HTML code, not into the WYSIWYG part (assuming you're using something like Dreamweaver/Word/GoLive, and not straight up text editing).

I am simply cutting and pasting the HTML into the body of my website, and it is not showing up as a banner, only the HTML characters. I am using a simple Go Daddy website builder. What is the WYSIWYG part?

you are trying to paste code into "what you see is what you get" or text you need to paste code into code not text. you have to use an editor. have you got frontpage or dreamweaver or somethingsimilar?

No I am just pasting it into the text body of the site builder. I am no using any other programs, which is the easiest one to use? I didn't think that I even needed another program, just for a simple cut and paste for a banner.

no, no, you cannot paste code into a text editor. i don't know site builder but see if there is a "source" button somewhere so you can post into the code.

if not email godaddy and ask them.

you have to place the cj code in the html area of your website and NOT the post area of your website
