How to customize the URL displayed on google?

    Hi all

    Example if I have a website www.send2list.com and have published this for over a year. Google search always display www.send2list.com, when returning the results.

    So if I search for a 'dancing man' on google, google will display www.send2list.com/?p=14

    But recently I have change to a subdomain, blog.send2list.com.
    So when people search on google 'dancing man' I do not want google to display the 'www.send2list.com/?p=14' but Instead I want to display display blog.send2list.com/?p=14

    Q1: How do I tell google to display that?

    Please also take note that when user go to www.send2list.com/?p=14, they will be redirected to blog.send2list.com/?p=14

    Q2: Does displaying either plays any role in the SEM?

    Disclaimer: the sample website is just an example. But pretend that send2list.com is a wordpress blog.

    Q1 : use a 301 redirection and google will update its database.
    Can take few days before it apears

    Q2 : no, not in your case, same main domain, same keywork, same content !
