There are many ways on how to start a web site, you could pay for a shared hosting account and then install wordpress which is quite easy. Or there's the other option of just going to wordpress.com creating a blog and then start editing and doing the looks of the blog. I could give you a site with 10k visitors per day & you still wouldn't know what you are doing... and you'd kill it within a week. it's a lot more complex and you are up against people that know what they are doing - so you have to be better and smarter than them... you wont do this over night. It's a long process.

You can have what ever your you want on your site... look at Youtube - they have everything under the sun... just keep your content original and unique... don't use duplicate content... or make your site for the ad's...
